i try to use my mobile phone as a bluetooth remote control for weeks now but it still doesn't work.
notebook and phone have been paired and all other services (file transfer, com-port, ...) work properly. but if i try to register the HID-profile in my toshiba-software (add a new connection - k700i - human interface device) the following error occurs:
"This HID device is already registered"
starting the remote control from the mobile without adding the connection in the BT-software before leads to "bluetooth connection was interrupted" on the mobile screen...
i'm using a bluetooth mouse on the machine but even if i delete the bt-mouse-connection, the problem is the same.
it would be great if anyone could help me with that. tanks in advance!

Sorry you cannot do this but can you answer a question for me?
WHY DO YOU WANT TO DO THIS?!
because it's cool to sit on the sofa and switch through the playlist without walking to the desk...
could you give me a short explanation why i can't do this? it worked fine on my last notebook with a usb-bluetooth-stick and widcomm stack.
yeah i got it working with the newest bluetooth stack. v4.00.36 solved the problem!
