SONY DVD RW DW-D56A does not burn DVD-RW

Hi to all, I've this problem... I've a sony vaio VGN-A217M and
when I try to burn a DVD-RW with my SONY DVD RW DW-D56A using Nero, it starts the burning, write for 30 min (2x) and finish burning.
Then I close nero and open the DVD-RW in F: drive to to look data written....but...the DVD-RW is empty.......WHY??????????????????

The firmware of my SONY DVD RW DW-D56A if PFS3 updated by sony vaio web site using Vaio Update.
