Hi Gang,
A simple question really. Everytime I hover my cursor over the battery icon in the taskbar, all I get is the percentage remaining (eg. 80% remaining) but not the actual time in hours and minutes (hh:mm).
I know on my previous Vaio (model number PCG-FX905) I used to get both.
Is there any way I can get my new Vaio (model VGN-FE11H) to display this info, or is this just the way it is on this new model.
Many Thanks
Hi rareair04,
Unfortunately I believe this is the way it is on the new models...:smileysad:
You could Google for BatteryMateXP.
Why is your post dated for tomorrow when its today?!
Anyways I think it should be defaulted to show both % and time, double click the option to see if it shows it or gives an option to show it?
Otherwise I dont think you can do much really as you say your last one showed it and this one doesnt.

Thanks for all the help, much appreciated.
On a different note, can anyone tell how much more significant battery power will I get if I was to upgrade to the VGPBPL2C battery which claims to be more longer lasting then the standard one.
Many Thanks
I know thalamus i noticed that too, went around asking everyone if the hour had changed?!!!
Silly me should have known its the Sony forum afterall, LoL:smileyhappy:
Hi there.
Try Notebook Hardware Control (NHC). I think that gives you the time left in hh:mm.
