Sony Vaio PCG-FR215E Keyboard died...

I like a beer, but my Vaio apparently doesn't. I bumped against my bottle and it fell on the working notebook. :slight_frown:

I've tried everything; cleaning with pure alcohol and other things. But nothing seems to work. Removing the keyboard is quite easy, but getting a replacement is a complete different story.

I'm searching for a couple of days now, but nobody can help me. It can not be found on the internet and sparepartsdealers here in the Netherlands can do everything for me, except when you've got a Sony.

Sony itself wants to bill me 20 euros before I even bring or send the notebook to them, while I already know that all I need is a new keyboard. They just won't sell it to me.

I'm going to try again tomorrow. Maybe someone has some suggestions for companies that DO deliver spareparts for Vaios?

Thanx in advance....

Pure alcohol isn't good for the VAIO

There's some spare parts sites but they're in the US, and I can't remember the address.....
