sound problems

hi guys,

I have been havin some strange sound related problems of late,

some times the sound of anything i am playing (mp3, wav, dvd through powerdvd5, you name it) speeds up. This is obviously to do with bitrate, but i have locked my sound card (echo indigo i/o) at 44,100hz...

Can anyone help me?

yeah i called vaio. useless

i think i will have to get onto the card manufacturer.

for your info, this is a samplerate issue.

How about setting it to 48khz if it supports it
