Speedstep is not working anymore...

Hi Guys! When my Vaio VGN-SZ1HP came with everything original the speedstep was working fine. When I leave the power it got slower the processor. I reinstall everything again, all drivers and software but when I see CPUID the CPU is always in 1667mhz. Before it was 900mhz.

Any suggestions?

Have you checked the CPU settings in Vaio Power Management, these options can be found in Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Power Options.

Yup! I set to Maximum Power VAIO and still it doesn't work.

Check your task manager....do you see only 1 graph or 2 ?

because i have a feeling my speedstep is broke as well....only showing 1 graph (1 core) instead of 2 !!!
