Standby mode hangs laptop with Vista ReadyBoost active on SD card

Hi to all,
I am writing here about an issue I have with my Sony Vaio VGN-CS11S

I have Vista ReadyBoost feature active on SD card.
When I try to put my laptop in Standby while the SD card light is flashing, because Vista ReadyBoost is working on it, the following happens:
1) Monitor goes off
2) my CPU fan continue working
3) HDD light flashes (not continuously)
4) my pc does not enter in standby and when I try to resume it won't respond. If I click the power button on my laptop the battery light switches on, and go back to off when I release the button. I have to switch off the PC keeping the power button pressed for more than 5 seconds.
5) If I do not reboot manually, after about 5 minutes a BSOD appears with the following error:
"DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" 0x0000009F

I have Vista SP1. All devices under Device Manager seem to be ok. I updated my laptop with all upgrades available on VAIO Update. I noticed the same problem also using another SD card.
I have no external devices attached (i.e. external HDD, USB Pen Drives, mouse, etc. excepted for the SD card, obviously).

Someone else has noticed this behaviour? Please help me!
