i am sorry if anyone has posted this before, but there is no searh function:smileycry: i have an sony vaio K155Z, and i made an dualboot Windows and SuSE 9.1, Suse has his vaio tool, but i can't find out a few things:

what is the "jog" key? what key combination i need to press to adjust volume and brightness?

My Wireless LAN doesnt work

my ATI drivers won't work

anyone had the same trouble? or solutions? thanks in advance!

Hi , well done for chooseing SuSe.
Ati drivers are at the moment only betas. But they work on my K115m well. You will need to start them from YAST . there in there under display I believe, all you need to do is tick the box. Your wireless should have been found ok unless like your modem it relies on windows for drivers in which case you need to hunt down drivers on www.linmodems.com . I have no idea what a jog wheel or key is.

remember zip files need to be unzipped before you extract the TAR file.

if i use the ATI drivers my X crashes, so i dont have a visual desktop:'(

i can't connect wireless, he can't get DHCP, etc etc, but i will lok at that site
