Hello, I have a Vaio K295HP. Is it possible to connect this to a television set to watch my stored video files?
Would anyone be able to tell me how to do this?
Many Thanks
Yes there should be an s-video socket.
You then need to select the TV as primary display
Thanks, got me on the right track.
K295HP does not have an S-Video connection. It does have an AV out connector.
I need to buy an AV Cable minijack connector on one end and a 3 x RCA (Cinch) on the other.
Part number VMC-20FR.
If the RCA does not connect to some TVs then a RCA to SCART convertor can be bought.
Ccable commonly looks like 1 yellow male at one end to three male at the B end, red, white and yellow.
These cables are usually sent out with new camcorders.
Thanks again.
Thats the one
Kee-Lo are these universal cables for a VAIO? Could I use this with a K-Series to hook it up to a TV? How much are they? (LOL lots of questions tonight:smileywink: )
Yes it would work on yours James.
Not sure how much they cost as I never had to buy one.
Feed the part number into Google. Cable is quite common and I believe Universal.
They retail about $13 or £7.50

Thanks very much! I'll buy it!
