Try ATRAC3 Plus 256... ?!

Hi everybody...

a month ago I got my own Vaio Pocket 40GB. I am very happy and pleased. The sound quality is really amazing. Has anybody else realized that difference when ripping CDs in ATRAC3 Plus 256 in comparism to standard ATRAC (132kbit)? To my ears it sounds perfect, equal to 16bit PCM CD quality (uncompressed).
I am astonished and I consider ATRAC technology far superior to MP3.

Sony should offer their music on Sony Connect in ATRAC3 Plus 256 as well!!! When listening to ATRAC files which I bought from the Sony Connect Store they sound really poor on my Vaio Pocket [in comparism to ATRAC3 Plus 256] and they cost me more than 1 Euro [here in Germany].

What do you think about it?

God imagine the size of the files? Connect's bandwidth would go sky rocketting.

It would become too expensive for them.

Hallo simon, ich b in ebenso begeistert wie du, darüber hinaus finde ich es klasse dass immer mehr deutschsprechende hierher finden. Ich verwende 132 und bin begeistert.Allerdings warte ich immer noch auf einen Tip wo ich so ne Tasche herbekomme.

Thorin, es gibt ofiziell eine SONY Tasche...allerdings nur in Japan.
Wenn Budda es will, nun, vielleicht kommt diese auch nach Germany (oder heisst dies bald Turkmany??? LOL)

Ich selber benutzt auch 132kb/s...finde es allerdings im vergleich zu mp3 128kbp schon besser!

PS.Isch benutze momentan als Tasche eine iPod "MARWARE" Tasche, extem gut (aber auch extrem "ALT"...cca 3 Jahre schon)
