TV out VAIO PCG GRT 916

I can't any more use the TV out (to watch movies on TV...). I still have the notebook screen activated and have the picture on TV but with bigger size (I used to have only picture on TV with the correct resolution).
Anyone who could help
PS: I'm now running Windows XP SP2

This problem is related to the settings of the Graphics card itself.

1. Right click a free bit your desktop.
2. Click Properties
3. Click Settings
4. Click Advanced
5. Click Displays (if you have an ATi Radeon GPU)
6. Click TV and then click Scale Panel Size to Screen resolution.

If that fails, then if the TV gets listed as another display (i.e. as display 2 - click Identify to test, a number will appear on-screen), adjust the resolution for that screen clicking Apply between updates - eventually you will hopefully find a setting which works...

I am clutching at straws to some extent as I have no TV-Out lead to test this with...
