Updating Nvidia Drivers

so i recently bought a sony vaio FZ21M, and am trying to play Unreal Tournament 3. Now i have read that it doesnt really take a powerfull system to run this, but at optimal resolution of 1280x800 my 8400M GT is struggling, pushing average of around 18FPS. Now i have nvidia drivers from sony, and updated through WU, think they are version 167.43 (according to dxdiag its 7.15.0011.6743) and there is newer drivers specifically for this game game, and for crysis, is it wise to try and install this, or hold out for an official sony release of these?

Welcome to the forum,
set a restore point and give it a whirl with the nvidia driver. You can always system restore via the F10 or recovery disks navigating to the tools available.
