VAIO AR21S HDMI OUT

Hi all. I connect my AR21S to SONY BRAVIA KDL40V3000 full HD 1080P TV through HDMI cable, but it display 1080i signal ,not 1080P, why? AR21S is not the 1080P laptop?

Are you using XP or Vista?

What version of the nVidia graphics driver do you have installed?

I use VISTA,GeForce Go 7600GT V7.15.10.9813 , I think its the last version of this graphics card.

I don't think the Sony drivers support 1080p. I remember at the time Vista was released, 1080p was not available to AR21S users.

I think you will need to use an unofficial driver if you need 1080p.

This is a Sony driver and will install on your Vaio without the need for a modded .INF.
