Hello,

Is it possible to record videos with sony vaio's built-in camera? on a model such as the vgn-fj3s/w.

Hi Peter,

Yes, you should be able to capture Video.

Start -> All Programs -> Vaio Camera Capture Utility

This gives you the option to capture stills or video.

Sony vaio capture utility is not listed under my all program lists............also my camera disconnects automatically :slight_smile: cant find a solution for it

It should be - does anything at all work properly on your Vaio?

Have a look in C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Camera Capture Utility

thats what im wondering...... C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Camera Utility is what i have and it has two files one is Vaio Camera Utility Server and one is Vaio Camera Utility Setting GUI which neither of which launch


sometimes i think me vaio is cursed... i guess it wasnt meant to be :slight_frown:

Well thats not there..............im running XP waiting for vista, but with all these problems with XP god help me with vista.......i had a thread about my vaio motion eye problems that it kept on disconnecting and i had to keep on un installating it then re-installing it to work but no one replied to that thread :slight_frown:
