Hi to all,
I own a Vaio model PCG-F809K since 2000. It's a very good machine for me, but the genuine Hard Disk Drive is now old and damaged (and will probably fail in few days)...
I know how to replace it but I've heard about Bios Limitation concerning the size of the HDD (Original one is 30 GBytes), and I was planning to install a 40GB or even a 60GB one...
Does somebody have further informations about this, or already performed a HDD replacement on a PCG-F809K Viao ?
(I apologize if a similar message has been already post but I haven't found anything)
Thank you in advance...
The 40 Gb drive should work fine!
I would'nt go much above this though, because of that BIOS problem!
