I have a TX17GP (aka TX2XP) with a keyboard fault resulting in none of the keys working - you cannot even get into BIOS by hitting F2 on boot up. Otherwise the computer works fine.
It has not sustained any mechanical or spill damage - the keyboard just stopped working.
Any ideas on causes or how I can get an Asian model fixed in the UK - I bought it when I was working in Dubai and it claims to have a worldwide guarantee although I cannot work out who repairs it as Sony UK won't deal with non-european models despite the fact the machine is identical to the UK spec TX2 !
