I have a Vaio Desktop W2 but ever since buying it there has
been a problem with Giga Pocket sometimes refusing to
open. Anyone else had this fault?:smileycry:

I don¿t use GigaPocket, but here is one possible solution for you from the Vaio knowledge base.

After having installed Microsoft DirectX Version 9.0b on my VAIO, Giga Pocket does not function properly any longer.
To resolve this issue, please download and install the Hotfix for DirectX 9.0b available on Microsoft web site.

If you use Service Pack 2, you use DirectX 9.0c and not 9.0b.

That is correct Seb, but Yvonne has not said whether SP2 is installed.
