hi, at the moment i'm using a cable from the headphone socket (3.5m jack) to connect to the aux socket on my amplifier. ie using a 3.5 mm jack to phono (red/white) cable.
It really bugs me how poor the connectivity is on these machines.
You could only use this method to connect to surround system, but still not truely the surround connection. This only thing to do that is to buy a USB External Sound card like Creative Extigy.. something like that.
