Hard disc crashed. Replaced with Hitachi Travelstar (non SONY). Now unable to restore using Sony DVD restore disc although can restore from MS Win XP original on CD. Bottom line appears that driver for Tosh DVD ROM SD-R6012 not working as a DVD driver - only CD. Tried all obvious fixes. Cannot install Sony apps from external DVD as message says file missing.
Any ideas?
