VGN-S1HP won't start properly

hi every one,
since the last couple of weeks, quite often when i turn on the power, the power light goes on but the screen stays blank...sometimes i have to switch off and on up to 3 times before i see something on screen. Although till now i have always managed to switch on eventually, i am scared this may be symptomatic of a larger problem..... I have a VGN- S1HP which i bought just over 3 months ago.

Sounds like a DEFINATE fault which should be repaired by Sony under guarantee.

Contact VAIO-Link for the phone number for Sony, explain the problem and ask for a pickup.

Repair can take up to 2 weeks.
