VGN-S1VP doesn't boot

My VGN-S1VP doesn't boot, when I press the power button the lights are turned on, the is a flicker on the screen but no vaio on screen no nothing. Simply no boot, any ideas? After 10+ attempts it will eventually start...
I've tried with and without battery, there is no difference.

Done, delivered to Alsace plant and apparently under examination...

Got it back last week, motherboard and screen replaced (wonder why the screen), thanks for your help.
I hope it doesn¿t happen again...
