I have a notebook Vaio with a problem. My DVD/CD-ROM (MATSHITA UJ-812) device don't read any device dvd-r and I can't burn ;-(

What I can do?

I have the same problem as yourself, but I have a different DVD drive...i have the DVD RW DW-D56a. It doesn't read any DVDS anymore. I have logged this problem with support, which maybe you should do too. Is it under warranty still?

Hi,

no the warranty is finished on september '05.
Now I have contact Sony and I sending the notebook directly to Sony.
I'm sorry but I don't speek english very well. I'm Italian.
