VGP-PRA1 port replicator

Hi there, i've recently bought a VGN-317M, I was thinking about buying the VGP-PRA1 docking station so that I could connect my VCR to it and upload video footage from a VHS tape, does anyone know if this port replicator can do this?

I think you just need an S-VIDEO lead and some software probably downloadable on the net. I would give you a link to a site with further info, but currently I'm having probs with google. Sorry

Not sure about that docking station - Dom that wouldn't work because he needs the imputs.

oh yeah KL, maybe there is a product that cpnverts that typo input to USB
