viao zone swap to windows media centre

i have tried as much as i can with viao zone but its useless. just wondering if anyone has found this and decided to buy windows media centre to replace it? i was wondering how good windows media centre is and if it will allow the tv that came preinstalled with my V2S will work with media centre?

My sister has a MediaCenter PC. It's a nice All in One wonder. But I have never used VAIO-Zone, that's why I can't compare it.

Media Centre is better, far better than VAIO Zone or VAIO Media.

That's true. And if I'm think right, then the Sony Hardware doesn't support MCE.

so im stuck with software that effectively does nothing and i cant even buy a replacement software that does the job it is suppose to do?

Yes in respects to the TV, for music and other media there are better packages around.

It would be interesting whether version 3.1 better. Because, saving the libery is useless if you lose all rights of DRM which you have bought.:smileysad:
