What other models of motherboard will work with Vaio VGN-FW21E?

Hello all,

Stuck between a rock and a hard place here and any help would be appreciated. I wont go into boring details

but basically i need to know what other models of Vaio motherboard would be compatible with a VGN-FW21E.

My Vaio VGN-FW21E motherboard has been damaged and i cant,anywhere on the web find one new or used.

But i have seen motherboard models close to mine available and i wondered which others would be compatible.

From the assesment I have made the LCD VGA cable and the CPU Fan and Heatsink are also damaged, however these parts seem readily available in most places, but no sign of a motherboard for my model.

I have decided to go down the road of repair as it is a beautiful machine and cost a bit too, but its the motherboard info that seems so elusive to the other parts.

Your Vaio has a custom motherboard and no other will work properly.

I would contact one of Sony's Service Partners to see if they can source one for you.
