Which drivers and utilities after a clean Vista Upgrade?

Hello,

After a clean Vista installation on my VAIO VGN-FE21S I've just added the video and the audio driver. Now I want to add only carefully selected Vista drivers, utilities etc. which can be downloaded at

http://support.vaio.sony.co.uk/downloads/select/select.asp?site=voe_en_GB_cons&category=0&serie=VGN-...

BUT there are no explanations which download is for which pupose. OK for some downloads the name says what it's for, but for what purpose are these:

- Other:
??? For which purposes is this, please?

- SonicStage:
??? Is this full Vista version, or how do I install it on a clean Vista installation?

- Sony Shared Library:
??? For which purposes is this, please?

- Sony Utilities:
??? For which purposes is this?

- Sony Video Shared Library:
??? For which purposes is this, please?

- VAIO Control Center:
??? Has this advantages better than the Vista Control Panel?

- VAIO Edit Components:
??? For which purposes is this?

- VAIO Event Service:
??? For which purposes is this, please?

- VAIO Power Management:
Has this advantages better than the Vista Power Management?

- Wireless Switch Utility:
??? Do I have to install it, if I don't use wireless devices at all?

- Bluetooth:
??? Do I have to install it, if I don't use wireless devices at all?

- Input Devices:
??? For which purposes is this? Just for the touch pad?

- Modem:
??? Do I have to install it, if I just want to use Vista Ultimate Fax?

- Multi Card Reader/Writer
??? For which cards is this, please?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

With Regards

Hi,

Why dont't you install all the downloaded drivers and applications which you listed? Then if you don't like some, uninstall them!

After me, all these are needed for the "well working" of your Windows Vista.

 My problem: I want to know, what I do.
Sometimes less is more.
Too many needless drivers can slow down your system's performance and have (un)known side effects...
I had to learn that an upgrade from XP to Vista is not possible without lots of problems (due to pre-installed software...) and now I appreciate my clean installation.
Can only recommend.
