Well, I would like to ask you why to use MP3s on the Vaio Pocket Player as it will be possible by using the Firmware Update in the middle of December.
MP3 Format is more or less the "standard" but look at Apple: They use AAC, but their IPod and their ITunes Store got so "hip" or stylish that they define a standard just by creating outstanding products.
And this is the point for me: Sony CAN create standards. Their products are outstanding - look at the Vaio Pocket Player. And ATRAC is far superior to MP3.
And we customers (fans) can do.
So why changing to the MP3 wave?.
The price difference is so minimal it's best to buy a CD in my opinion.
I like to try to find rare dance music CDs and theres nothing like holding the rarest suff in your hand, you can download easily but its just not the same!!
Yeah I have to agree, specially on 12" vinyl too.
I could make a packet on ebay with my drum & bass collection, but there is no way on this earth i would ever sell it!!!!!
Its better knowing the your one of the few!
Im into d&b, progressive, breaks & house.
just putting mix cds to mates at mo but want to play out.
Also considering getting Ableton Live and seeing what I come up with!
There's a few records I would NEVER sell too, they're just too rare now!
I have seen 12's going for > £200 on ebay, it's crazy!
I like house, breaks, some d&b.
