Wireless client net usage?

Hi,
I have my laptop connected to the modem/router (sometimes wireless/sometimes cable). There is also another laptop connected wirelessly.

How can I monitor the download/upload usage of the other client/laptop. Can windows show me this (XP Pro) or will I need some other SW. DU Meter only seems to measure the local machines net usage.

Thanks
Philip

Look for driver-updates for the router.

Sometimes you by a new hardware but you become old drivers

A friend from has a FRITZ-Box SL WLAN

After download and install the new driver he can look the Traffic from the Router( but only in the router configuration / internetsettings)

Monitoring another computers net usage would mean installing a client on the other computer, as it is completley seperate from the computer you are on, and the router allocates bandwidth automatically. I kno thats confusing, but it cant be done without installing some software on the other computer, well not as far as I know anyway.

Yes that's right,

but the problem is not the router.

The german TELEKOM is an monopoly(not the game). They have all connections.(like internet)

But the problem is monopolizing are forbidden in Germany.
Therefore the TELEKOM must hire out their connection.

And firms like 1&1, freenet, lycos or others hire this.
(to hire cost money)

I'm client by 1&1 there is my flatrate and theoretical I can 365 day / year
connect with the internet. But this is to expencive for 1&1 and TELEKOM.
Therefore they cutting my connection after 24 hours.
