I have a wireless network connection i amusing a netgear modem router. the question i want to ask is why the speed is not fully on maxinum all the time.in the connection status box the speed varies to 24mbps to 54mbps. I have phone the helpline and was advised to change the firmware version which i have done. i have also changed the channel frequency its on but sometimes the speed drops up and down. the signal strength is full max so i dont understand why this is. is this normal for the speed to not be on max?
