XP Home Backup

My Vaio doesn't have Backup listed in System Tools and I only have the discs I made when initially setting up the laptop.

Can anyone please advise how I go about backing up files & settings to a USB stick? I regularly save favourites, Roboform settings, documents and images. Would also like to backup Address book, and wondered what else others consider necessary to backup.

If the PC crashed I wouldn't like to have to start again from fresh. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Frankie

You probably right...I'm not sure about the demo...
But also you can also use the Sonic (burner cd/dvd software) wich comes with your vaio (at least in my case).

And there's one freeware to burn your cds e dvds (i haven't tried yet 😞 http://www.binartisan.com/binacd/setup.exe

There are plenty of free backup utilities. Have a look here, or do a Google.

if you go to the vaio recovery utility , you can select to recover your computer and then press on the options button.

There you have then the option to restore the support folders

This should do the trick
