I have just changed my xxx.hotmail.co.uk account to xxx.outlook.com and tried to update my Sony Tablet - it won't allow the email address to change so I deleted the account and tried to create a new one and then the problems started.
When I set up the account on a PC in Outlook the settings are:
- server POP3: pop3.live.com
- POP: 995
- : SSL
- server SMTP: smtp.live.com
- SMTP: 587
- TLS
When I set up on the Tablet S the incoming email test works but not the sending. I know were the problem is, since I need SSL for incoming and TLS for outgoing.
Rather than using the PO settings I have tried the Exchange option but I don't know the correct options.
Does any one know the corect settings to get this to work?
