Android 11 Side Sense

I have just updated to Android 11 on my Xperia 1 this morning, and the biggest problem I have is that the side sense bars are showing up on the screen whenever I switch apps. Transparency is set to high so it shouldn't be showing at all. If it stays like this I will probably have to turn it off. 

Has anyone found or know of a fix for this?
