April update

Hi

I believe it was Monday when I've received the April update also versioned as 61.1.A.7.35

Does anyone know or managed to find the changelog? I didn't have luck finding anytihng online. I can only see the security patch has updated to April. It was over 300mb I believe.

 Hey,

It's usually security updates, but there's no official page to learn about the actual changes, so you're still gonna have to rely on online information which still cannot 100% be trusted if that will be a deal breaker for you.

Cheers.

hello @Corruptedminds

have you tried checking on XDA forums for details about the changelog?

I tend to avoid XDA when I'm looking for official info (You would think Sony will provide this). I only use XDA when I look for other non official tools.

So you're saying that if you were to Google "61.1.A.7.35" and the top result, listed, was a page on the XDA forum, talking about it, where if you just tapped that link it would take you to a page, where a guy called Jaromos had wrote, basically, what it is that you wanna know, i.e. :

"According to information found online -

-Security update (security patch level will be April 2022.)
-Fixed Dolby atmos settings.
-Fixed the care charging function.
-Changed the communication method of Game Enhancer related subsystems.
-Updated the application. (Game Enhancer, Music)
-Fixed other minor bugs."

...that you wouldn't wanna know? Because you wouldn't wanna tap it because you don't go there for any official stuff? You'd only tap a link and go to an XDA forum page if it was one that was talking about unofficial stuff?

That's a bit daft, is it not?
