Hi,
I have only just noticed that when I am looking at a photo in the Album app, if I click the three dots on the top right hand corner, the option to rotate the photo has been removed.
Does anyone know if this has been removed completely, or for some reason hidden in a different location?
Hi
What device do you have?
Sorry, yes I should have shared that info! I have the Xperia 1. The option was there recently, I'm sure it was there after the Android 11 update, but I could be wrong
Try to clear cache and data and force stop for the Album app and then restart the device and check again.
I have cleared cache, done a force stop, disabled the app, cleared access and done a restart on the phone. Hasn't made a difference.
In the Album app you'll see the pencil on the bottom, left of the bin.
Tap and act to edit your picture.
From the pencil sign at the bottom , it will give you options like Google photos and Photo editor, you can rotate the picture from there if you pressed on crop, you'll find an option for rotation. For the rotate option from the 3 dots , it should be there. I think you should do a factory data reset to your phone as i think this is a glitch. May I know what is the model and the android version of your device ?
