I have recently pre-ordered Sony Xperia 1 III, but the supplier of the telephone says that since there is delay from Sony in delivery of the phone, the phone is delayed.
Could someone help in defining the delivery date of the product?
I was looking forward to claim the free headphone that comes with pre-order, but if the phone does not arrive withing the campaign time, one will not be able to take advantage of the campaign and miss out on the benefit of pre-ordering. Which was to get the headphones with the phone.
Could you please let us know what will done for those who has pre-ordered with the intention of using the campaign and in the end are not able to use the campaign as the delivery is delayed and hence the last date of the campaign has been crossed

Actually the device is not released on their official website yet and preorders are only available.
They did not confirm any official date on any of their channels either.
There are no Sony rep. here who can advise about this matter, so you can try to contact them and check what will they advise with regarding the campaigns matter.
This is crazy, why no release day... and Sony wonder way their phone sales are so poor year on year!
The Xperia 1 lll has been released on the Sony official website with different retailers, you can find it here: here
But, as far as I know, some retailers are facing lake of stock and delay in delivering the phones and unfortunately, some people didn't get their phones yet.
Finally received my phone but the retailer failed to send my M3 headphones! They have now posted them but I have not received them as they have been sitting in Basingstoke post office depot for the last 8 day!!!!
Just a quick question my Xperia 1 iii doesn't seem to have a media server so I cannot be share my media with DLNA devices is that correct?

I bought my phone on 13/09/21 and received nothing so far.
I have emailed the promotional team several times, they said it was posted to me on 7/10/21 and their latest reply was: "Hi
Our dispatch department have been unable to provide tracking
information for your parcel. Please contact your local Royal Mail
delivery office who may be holding your parcel there. Should your
headphones be returned to us we will arrange redelivery at that time."
Frankly, I am speechless. If no tracking number provided, there is no parcel sent to me
Did you try to contact royal mail to check with them ?
Ärgere Dich nicht. Ich habe innerhalb des Aktionszeitraums mein Smartphone gekauft, mich registriert und trotzdem die zugesagten Kopfhörer nicht erhalten. Die Kommunikation mit Sony war auch ergebnislos. Das nenne ich mal Kundentäuschung bzw. Betrug.
