Xperia 1 4k playback

I just want to know if, since Xperia 1 has a 4k screen, but it's not the full UHD resolution of 2160x3840, will it be able to play 4k videos on youtube, netflix, amazom prime video, etc, or just 1440p?

Thanks, I'll probably give my s10 plus to my brother then and I'll get the xperia 1...kinda bummed that it doesn't have a jack and wireless charging, but I take that over a hole in my screen. Also, if anyone knows any leather cases for xperia 1, feel free to post a link.

I'm still having 4K playback issues.

YouTube app

• YouTube doesn't recognize I'm using a 4K device
• Even though I purchased "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" in 4K. 

Play Movies & TV app

• You cannot choose your resolutions.

Use Youtube Vanced, you can pick any resolution you want.
