Xperia 1 II, 70 mm autofocus problems

Hi,

did anyone of you also encounter problems with the autofocus on the 70 mm lense?

Even if the camera finds faces with Eye-AF turned on, it still prefers the background or doesn't focus at all.

Light conditions are good, bright day, clear color contrasts. The 24 mm lense is able to focus on the distant objects that the 70 mm cam is missing.

Is it simply me, not being able to use this lense properly so far, or am I not the only one facing this issue?

All the best,

Philipp

The helpguide mentions: The eye AF feature is available only when using the main camera.

Did you find photography advise in the settings?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

I'm absolutely sure the camera app and the photo pro app do find faces and eyes, because I saw that often enough now.

But ti could be, as you say, that even when they find them, they don't focus there if I am not on the main camera.
