New phone purchased Feb 2021 and I have a 2020 Mazda 6 and yet unable to connect Android Auto, the phone is literally not talking to my vehicle. I can connect via Bluetooth and that's about it. I have so far gone through every reboot, factory reset etc that Sony have suggested and yet no joy. It's not the cable as my Huawei Mate 20 Pro connects no problem at all and did so when I first had it 2 years ago. Can anyone HELP🙏

can you try to use the USB cable that came with the phone. and then when you connect the device, try to look at your notification on the phone, there should be a list of options to connect
