Xperia 1 ii mirrored glass weakness

Anyone else noticed that the back, mirrored glass is far too easily marked?

I've had the phone for a few weeks, in a case, and just seen marks that seem to have been caused by dust! Dust trapped between the case and phone.

Will post photos.

Please let me know how your mirrored X1ii is looking after a month or two of standard use

From experience, I have the Spigen case on my phone since release, just checked and nothing like in the photos.

Are you sure it's not UNDER the glass?

The marks aren't tactile, so could be under the glass, or on the glass so flush that I can't feel them.

I'm thinking it might be an issue with these mirrored versions... but would like to know how others are finding the mirrored glass?

Wish I'd gone for black

I've attached images... so gutted it looks like this after a few weeks... I've put an issue report in to Sony

Good move, if you've had it under a month, you could get hold of Vodafone to see if they will enact a replacement if it's under the glass.

Either way, I'm sure it will get sorted for you.

Keep us informed please.

I have the same problem but acutally Sony support told me that this is not covered by the warranty. It is INSIDE not on the outside!!!

Reach out to support again and show them pictures and state that you can't feel the scratch on the outside of the case.

Sony Service fixed the problem. Lasts less than a week to get back my Xperia 1 II.
