Xperia 1ii home screen clock and keyboard settings

Hi, can anybody help me find out how to put the clock on my home screen? I can only see the option of adding it to my lock screen so far.

Also my keyboard doesn't always come up when trying to type,is anybody else having the same problem?

After having Sony for the last 10 years I'm really not liking the 1ii and am close to returning it

I've eventually managed to figure out the clock issue. For anybody else having the same problem you need to hold your finger on the home screen,click on widgets and then choose the clock or weather design you want.
