Xperia 10 boot fail

Hi, so I have a Sony Experia X10 and had it now for nearly 2 years.  About 3 weeks ago, I had constant reboots. It would get to the sony logo the restart, constantly. After many tries I managed to get it linked up to the Experia Companion app, while holding down the volume down button, then plugging it into my pc. I did a software repair and managed to fix the problem.

Now 3 weeks later, it started to do it again then stopped. Now, when I plug it in to charge I have no charging light, no vibrations, nothing. Ive tried holding down the power and the volume up button for 120 seconds, nothing.

At this point, I feel my phone has given up the ghost BUT when I plug it in to my PC the Sony Companion app recognises that it is connected and shows 'Your Device is locked, unlock required', but the phone doesnt turn on, vibrate, no LEDs, nothing. I hold the volume down button while before connecting but still throws up the message.

Any advice, hits or tips are welcome.

Thanks.

Try the option: My device is not recognised or is a smart watch.

Also think about the apps you install.

Maybe there is something there that disrupts everything.

Apps, keep everything slim and stay mainstream.
