Hi there, sorry to hear about your experience, but there are no Sony rep. who respond on posts here and about your issue, this has been an ongoing problem with the repair center since the covid-19 situation specially when they request components or spare parts from out side.
Only with the Sony, not because of COVID-19 but due to illegitimate service center. This things usually don't happen with Apple or Samsung. The purchase of Xperia 5 ii was my biggest mistake ever, didn't know how illegitimate brand SONY is! Look at the PS5 pre-order nightmare, holy crap!!!
Did they give you any reply about your case yet or is your device still with the repair center?
No its still with them but today I give up and told them to send my device without repair. It seems they are (sony) very happy now. What a illegitimate company SONY has became? What a joke! I will never never buy a sony product. I wanted to bye PS5 rather I will buy Xbox. I wanted to change my TV with Sony's but now I'm thinking Samsung is far better, perhaps I will get little less colour but their service is far better than Sony.
