a65 steady shot error

Hello,

I just purchased alpha a65v and when swiched on it has steady shot error constantly on( yellow warning symbol),

It is annoying to have it on lcd at the all time!! Is it a faulty product or just ordenary warrning message. Any HELP..??

Hi Valk85, welcome to the Sony Forums

It's not normal to have this error, although the camera may still work normally, with the obvious exception of the SteadyShot function.

The SteadyShot warning will only show up if it's not working for some reason; sometimes simply resetting the camera does the trick. Switch the camera off, remove the battery for a minute, then replace it and switch on again.

If it's still there after resetting, you should contact Sony Customer Service and organise a repair. Instructions can be found on this thread: https://www.sony.co.uk/discussions/message/651957#651957
