A7 iii "internal temp. high. Allow to cool" when when cool

Hello,

I bought my camera 10 days ago from Amazon.co.uk. Everything worked fine until yesterday. I've done around 200 pictures and few couple seconds 4k videos. When turning on I'm getting information "Internal temp. high. Allow to cool." - camera wasn't even warm as I just turned it on. I turned camera off for couple hours - same problem. Then I plugged battery off for a whole night, tried in the morning - same issue.. I can't do any firmware update as camera turns off straight after this error shows up.

Anyone has a fix for this or had similar issue ?

After looking at the manual for your camera, I can see that it can only be reset through the main menu. So there's not much that you can do right now apart from sending it over to Sony for inspection.

the same thing happened to my a7iii yesterday, but I was only taking photos. 

did you get it fixed if so how?
