Hi guys . I got an email from sony about a new product called bravia core . But it turns out its for only a selected tv that have the XR installed. im using the KD-75ZH8 8K tv and to my knowledge it has the XR chip in the tv . but when I go to Google play to install the app its not there. I was just wondering if its going to stay for a selected group of tv or will it be rolled out to other tvs that have Xr installed on the tv . as my tv is 8k I'm sure it be able to run it. thanks guys for your help as usual
The XR chip is implemented only on the 2021 tv line up
I have a KD-50X80ju which is a 2021 model. I received an email from Sony pointing me to this and free access. It would seem I can download the app but not use it for free access, but it will let me use a voucher to access it! So why the email I ask myself and Sony! I have asked Sony support this question!
I do not see the X80J as a model partecipating to the program https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/bravia-core#products
True, then why did Sony me an email to join. I love wasting my day!

Being enrolled in the community I received the email too even if I have a 2017 A1 model...
@rooobb I got the email a few days after buying the TV last week. So therefore leading to the conclusion it was about my new model 🙄. I didn't buy it for this reason, in fact I didn't even know about Bravia core until I received the email.
The picture quality on the xr65x94j with the ps4 pro looks great. 😊
