Bravia KD-49XE8004 Start-up

Could someone please advise me how I can set my TV to start with the digital input (Freeview).

Since purchase it starts at HDMI 1 with the following message in the bottom right hand corner of the screen    "No signal. Check the external input or select another input using the INPUT button." That is what I find annoying.

All HDMI inputs are connected but none are active at switch on.

What I want, is to be able to switch the TV on and immediatey view the TV Digital input without having to physically select the desired input.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion.

However, having disconnected both HDMI 1 & 2, at switch on the TV still defaults to HDMI 1 even though nothing is connected to that input. Very annoying.

Hi @kecolli93. I would open a formal support ticket if I was you:

Hi @kecolli93  To eliminate whatever is connected to HDMI 1, what happens if you disconnect it completely and then switch on having switched off while watching Digital TV?
