Bravia XF9005 - Satellite guide issues

Hi,
I own an XF9005 and have the satellite dish connected directly to TV. I normally use the built in guide to view satellite content.
Recently when trying to change channels the TV changes to the channel but won't display a picture only audio. This locks up the tv and makes me unable to navigate away from the channel that wont display. The only resolution seems to be a restart using the power button on the tv.

Can anyone help?

Similar issue here. I went on holidays so I didn't use the TV for a while.

It works with digital terrestrial but not satellite. Some channels like BBC 2 have the audio and after a while the image appears. Some other channels do not have neither audio nor picture.

I tried to re-tune the channels but the TV stays like that for ages and do not scan new services...

I will ring customer services today. If you have an update please post it here 😉

I got an answer from the customer services and it worked for me.

I just unplugged the TV from the mains, leaved it off for a minute, plugged the cable and turned it on again. All satellite channels (audio and picture) were back to normal.

If that didn't work, these were the steps they told me to do before calling a technician to the house

-Ensure that the cable is connected firmly to your TV.

-Try a different satellite cable if possible.

-Clear the cached data on the TV by pressing on Home - Settings - Storage and reset - Internal storage - Clear cached data.

-Perform a soft reset as explained down the below link:

-Reset your TV to the original factory settings as explained down the below link:

Please find the below link with steps how to set up your TV:

Hope this helps.
