Brightness issues

I have a KD 49XG8096. Recently I have noticed that on occasion when there is a scene change on the program I am watching, the brightness just gets a little more or less for a brief instant. it's like the tv is catching up with a small brightness change.  Anyone had this or a solution.

Have you noticed this issue with a specific app or channel? Also, have you tried to disconnect the TV from the power mains for a few minutes? Could be a power glitch and depowering it sometimes is enough to sort it out

Seems mainly on sky, on hdmi2. I've rebooted tv, and disabled auto contrast enhancement. Seems to be ok for now.....
