change dedicated netflix remote button?

Is there anyway to reassign a diffrent app the the netflix button on the remote control?

I dont use netflix and have no plans to!

I would prefer this button load up PLEX or KODI instead.

Is this possible?

Since the Marshmallow update, the App Starter for Netflix Button stopped working... 😞

Sent an email to the developer... lets see

I'm not yet on Marshmallow but it won't be long before it's updating...

Have you tried removing the app, then rebooting the TV and then installing the app again?

Have you got an answer from the developer? It's really annoying to lose this feature with marshmallow. Not only is the new OS laggy we also have a useless button.

It is such a shame Sony force netflix on us I love my TV but the Netflix and Google play buttons seem super sensitive and are annoying also not being able to uninstall Netflix is a crock. I will not buy a Sony Tv again.

Hi Pommyt, well, they're the most popular and prominent features of the TV, so having the buttons as a shortcut makes sense but in the end it does depend on your personal preference.
