These sets have enough trouble supporting YouView 😢

But Freely hasn’t snagged any major TV manufacturers so far, just a few second division ones, and I’m guessing it has hardware requirements, so not something that can be backported to existing TVs, and so new 2025 sets at the earliest.

What are you looking for from Freely? You need to be somewhere you can’t have an aerial, or have only a Freeview Lite transmitter in range, can’t get Freesat, and are prepared to settle for a limited selection of channels, currently just the ones available from the players of channels 1 - 5, before it brings you any benefits.

Yes new freely set needs twin free view twin freesat tuners plus 6 hdmi ports plus 4 usb to support all our addons.

The future will be aerial and dish free.  I have today seen the first freely advertisement on TV.

So I ask Sony and other TV manufacturers to prepare for the future and have a up to date inbuilt EPG namely Freely.

i thought Freely was only something that came on Huawei Tv sets, or at least thats first time i saw it, dont think Sony would implement it they seem to mainly work with Freesat
